NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market welcomes non-profit organizations and charities in our community, to display a booth detailing information about their organization and showcase the work they do to raise awareness about their group/charity.  Please contact our market manager at 780.464.3354 or manager@sherwoodparkfarmersmarket.ca with regards to a complimentary booth at our market. Please note that stall assignments will be based on availability. Please contact us soon if you wish to have a stall for the coming season.

EVENTS 2010

May 12: Opening day. Come out and enjoy the start of a brand new season at the Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market.

DATE TBA: Children’s Day. On Children’s Day, Sherwood Park Farmers Market celebrates children and the kid in all of us. We will have a balloon artist, face painters, and giveaways. Check your local paper for more details.

July 1: Canada Day Celebrations. Come out and celebrate Canada’s birthday at Festival Place. The Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market will set up in our usual place in the parking lot of Festival Place on Canada Day from 9:00 am –  4:00 pm

DATE TBA: Berry Day. What’s Berry Day? This is our way to celebrate local berries coming into season. Enjoy a complimentary berry and cake treat on us. Stop in at our information booth for where to pick up a complimentary treat and for more information on what kind of berries are now in season.

DATE TBA: Corn Roast. This annual event is paired with Stars Air Ambulance. Corn is now in season and we’re having corn roasts cooked up by the Stars Air Ambulance team. Look for their booth at  our market or stop into our information booth for directions. Make a donation for Stars Air Ambulance for an amount of your choice for your roasted corn.
